1.) Our church held a corporate fast.
I learned that I like my new church even more than I thought I did.
2.) My husband was laid off for a couple of days.
I learned that you can get a lot of extra work done when your husband is home unexpectedly for two days in a row. It’s even better when those two days are Thursday and Friday so that you have a four day weekend!
3.) I took a blogging class online from Blogelina.
I’m still making it through all of the notes but I learned so much already. The best thing about the class I took was the question and answer time at the end. I also made some new friends. (waving wildly at my new friends from the Blogelina class.)
4.) I worked on few new recipes for the blog.
I learned that recipe photography is hard.
5.) I purchased clementines for the first time.
I learned that my family LOVES them. I can’t keep them in stock. They are just the perfect size for a little snack and so easy to peel.
6.) I made cabbage rolls for the first time.
I learned that all these years (26) that I’ve been making meat loaf, my husband really wanted cabbage rolls. He just never told me until about three weeks ago. As you may have noticed on my menu plans on my How Fun! posts, it’s been appearing every week since.
7.) I started hosting Link-Up parties.
I learned about many new blogs and have enjoyed seeing the beauty that they have to share. I am so grateful for all of you that have been linking-up each Friday! Thank you so much!
