The previous photos are of a beautiful hydrangea in my yard.  I know you all know how much I love peonies.  My second favorite flower has to be the hydrangea.  The span of color that these gentle plants give us throughout the gardening year is something to behold.  And, the dried flower head can be brought inside and used as a pleasing fall decoration.  The leaves also give texture and dimension to the spring, summer, and fall garden.
