What we are eating next week:
- Saturday Waffles, bacon, and eggs.
- Sunday Cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes. I made cabbage rolls for the first time ever last weekend. Oh my goodness, were they delicious. I froze half and we are eating them this weekend.
- Monday Spaghetti, broccoli (frozen)
- Tuesday Whole roast chicken, sweet potatoes, green beans
- Wednesday Spinach salad with apples, bacon, and walnuts
- Thursday Pork loin, red skin potatoes, carrots (from raw)
- Friday Homemade chicken noodle soup
Baking this weekend: Iced cranberry raisin bars

It’s been forever since I have made cabbage rolls but I never knew the trick about freezing the cabbage! And I don’t think I ever used savoy. Hmmm… Might need to try them, again, and see if Peter likes them, now. And I love seeing what others are planning on cooking, it’s inspiring.
I just added the menu items the last two weeks. I’m glad you commented about it because I wasn’t sure if it “worked.” I also like to see what others are eating. I’m hoping that eventually, I will have more recipes to link to it. The cabbage rolls freeze and reheat well.
I’ve missed you! I hope to be back soon.
