“How fun!” That’s my exclamation when I see or hear about something I like.  Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile this week:

We got our doxie, Oliver, this:
Kyjen Dog Games Doggy Blocks Spinner Dog Toy Puzzle.
You put food or treats under each block and the dog has to remove the block to get the food.   Ollie recognizes it as soon as I bring it out and gets right to business trying to get the treats.  I think we may begin timing him!  He’s not easily tricked though.  The other day, I only put food under three blocks and he refused to remove that fourth block!

I enjoyed the Bible reading plan for readers from the Gospel Coalition.  I’m always looking for a new plan to get into the Word more often.

My new blog friend, Barbie, at My Freshly Brewed Life, rolled out a new blog design for 2014.  How fun is that?  She’s a very talented artist.

This was the perfect type of snowfall and it beckoned me to come and be a part of it.  The light would soon be fading.  Snow blanketed the ground and sounds were muffled.  I watched as the big fluffly flakes rapidly fell and tumbled over each other.

And God made these amazing crystal structures for you and me.  Everything He has created for us is so simple and so complex at the same time.  God became flesh.  Simply man and yet completely, complexly God.

I stayed out until it was dark, feeling warmed by His love and generosity.

John 1:3 – All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.
