Amazing Grace in the Fall

Wow!  It’s been a little while since I’ve been on here.  And during all of that time, God has shown me such Amazing Grace!

I was all ready to jump back into blogging last Thursday and then my mom fell.  She broke both of her shoulders and her right arm in two places.  She had surgery to put in a plate and screws.  We would really value your prayers for her.  Her name is Beth.

I plan to be around here a lot more.  I have so many ideas and photos to share with you.  I’ve been storing up beauty that I’ve observed.

31 Days of Beauty in the Psalms: Psalm 30:11-12

Today is day 20 of the 31 Days of Beauty in the Psalms series.

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning
and clothed me with joy,
that my heart my sing Your praises
and not be silent.
Lord, my God, I will praise You forever.
Psalm 30:11-12

31 days. 31 photos. 31 scriptures.

The following pictures are of million bells which are also called calibrachoa. (You can click on any photo to see it at full size.)

Calibrachoa is a member of the evergreen family.

Isn’t that fascinating??

I just spent the morning in my garden!

red-calibrachoa-bumble-bee-2When I first started home schooling, I read a lot of Charlotte Mason.

I loved her idea of sitting and watching the bumble bees.

We can learn so much from just stopping and watching, don’t you think?

Improve each shining hour,
And gather honey all the day
From every opening flower.
~Isaac Watts

Tell me, what fills your heart with joy?
