“How fun!” That’s my exclamation when I see or hear about something I like.  Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile this week:

And speaking of dogs, a friend sent me a print of a dachshund from David Rogers.  He has  a talent for capturing the essence of different dog breeds.

If you didn’t see it earlier, this is one of my family’s favorite holiday treats.  It doesn’t last long!

I found a book at Sage Parnassus about Charles Dickens to put on my reading list. I must confess that my consumption of Dickens has been primarily by movie in the last few years.  What is your favorite Dickens book?

During this season of baking, why not get a copy of  Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett to read to your children?   I find this book delightful!
