whatever is lovely... if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Scripture Writing Psalm 119:1-5

How did you like scripture writing Psalm 119:1-5?  I just love the daily discipline of writing one or two verses a day and meditating on it.  At the end of the week, I wrote a prayer in my journal space based on the week’s scripture.

Psalm 119:2 made me think of Rev. 12:10-11 “And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.  And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” ESV

As you can see, I made a mistake or two.  I don’t let it slow me down.  I’m still getting scripture down into my heart even on the days I’m messy.

Thank you for your Word and your promises.

Help me to walk blamelessly in your ways.  Help me to keep your testimonies and precepts diligently with my whole heart!  Amen
