Happy Thanksgiving! Are you ready for the day? In all of the busyness, don’t forget to take a moment or two to breathe deeply and partake of His peace and grace.
Like many people, our preparations will start today. I’ll be baking pies this afternoon. Amy won’t be able to come home this weekend. She will be traveling by train this evening to Virginia to spend Thanksgiving with her paternal grandparents. Ed will pick up my mom after he gets off work so that she can spend the night with us. Cranberry Pie and Houligan are on Thursday’s breakfast menu. It’s tradition!
There will be just a small gathering of five around our table for Thanksgiving dinner and then we will all go to my brother’s for dessert. This will be the first Thanksgiving in 10 years that my mom, my brother’s family, and my family will be together. A family rift has been healed. I am so grateful!
I’ll be sending out a special Black Friday/Cyber Monday coupon later today for all of my e-mail/newsletter subscribers. There’s still time to sign-up. Just use the handy box in the right hand side bar.
I pray you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving! God is good!

Wishing you a most wonderful Thanksgiving, Elizabeth. Much love to you and Ed. xoxo
