How Fun! Vol. 28
“How fun!” I find myself exclaiming this many times throughout the week. Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile:
I have something to tell you about my quirky self. I am a worm rescuer. I can’t bear to walk past a worm wriggling on the side walk. I must pick the worm up and put it back in the grass or other dirt. I rescued three worms yesterday on my daily walk. I feel pretty good about that.
I feel strongly about beauty and how important it is in our lives. This podcast and post about beauty from Edie at Life in Grace resonated to my very core. You can listen to it right from your computer. It is part of her The Life You Love Manifesto series.
What we are eating next week:
- Saturday We are going to a graduation party/pork roast
- Sunday Hamburgers, baked beans, tater tots
- Monday Pasta, meat sauce, rolls, broccoli
- Tuesday salmon with pineapple jalapeno salsa, rice, asparagus
- Wednesday Pizza, cut up vegetables
- Thursday Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots
- Friday Oriental Chicken Salad,
Baking this weekend: Ed’s favorite-Apple pie
