How Fun! Vol. 26

how-fun-2

“How fun!” I find myself exclaiming this many times throughout the week. Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile:

I really like this song God Day by Jen Stranbro.  I heard it on the Inspired to Action podcast about Jessi Connelly.

I mentioned here that I love housesVictoria Elizabeth Barnes is a really fun blog by a couple who are restoring their 1890 Victorian house.  Victoria has a slight obsession with Craig’s list and has a flair for the beautiful!

I’ve added another book to my summer reading list:  A Fine Romance by Susan Branch.  It’s all about her trip to England with beautiful hand painted illustrations.

I recently read this fascinating article about creativity and walking.  “Many of our famous authors and painters and composers were huge walkers that would go walking for inspiration.”-John Ratey

Hi Elizabeth! I’m new to your blog and link-up party, but I’m excited to discover some new friends! I liked your post a lot. Especially the photo of the leaves – very lovely! And I also loved the verse from Ephesians. Sometimes I feel like my spirit is dead (tired) – but it’s so wonderful to know that we are never without the Light of the Son!

    GOD BLESS!

Do you already have A Fine Romance? It’s a beautiful book! My family is planning a trip to England in the Fall and a friend of mine bought the book for me to read before we leave. I’m about half way through it and I love it! I’m sure you will too! Enjoy!!

How wonderful that your family will be traveling to England! I can’t wait to read about it on your blog!

I picked up A Fine Romance from the library. I was thinking that today would be the perfect day to sit in the garden and start it! The book is so beautiful, isn’t it? I purchase the Susan Branch calendar every year and it hangs in my kitchen. Do you read her blog?
