How Fun! Vol. 22

“How fun!” I find myself exclaiming this many times throughout the week. Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile:

I want to read this book!  The author of Fictitious Dishes created and photographed famous meals from a variety of literary works.  You can see excerpts from the book in this Smithsonian Magazine article.

And while we are on the subject of reading, here is a fascinating article from the Washington Post that talks about the different parts of your brain that are used for reading from paper and reading from a digital device.   I love learning about how our brains work!

    There are no words to express my thoughts at this moment. At times, the beauty observed is in a photo or nature or words. And this morning the beauty I observed was with my ears – the song moved me to tears. It spoke deeply to my heart. For that I had to say “thank you, Elizabeth!”. I so love coming to your blog each & every time you post. It may have started out for the link up but not anymore. Now it is solely for the beauty I know I will find here.
