Contentment is a beautiful garment to wrap ourselves in.  Have you ever met someone that just seemed at peace? They knew who God was and who He had made them to be. They seemed to be fully content in their circumstances – good or bad. People like that are just calming to be around. It’s not an easy task but I’d really like to radiate that kind of peace and serenity.  Meditating on scriptures can help.

I Timothy 6:6  But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
