How Fun! Vol. 11

How Fun! Friday Link-Up party at

“How fun!”  I find myself exclaiming this many times throughout the week.  Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile:

Hydrangeas White and Pink Turning

Last week, I found a new-to-me blog called  Nancherrow.  I linked up to the link-up party called Fridays Unfolded.  Well, Beauty Observed is one of the blogs being featuring today.  How fun is that?!  Thank you, Alison!

Because of Alison at Nancherrow, I am now reading the book Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher.  What do the two things have to do with each other?  Alison’s blog is named after the sequel to Coming Home.

Do you have your Valentine’s Day shopping done yet?  My 13 year-old daughter is getting the Grace Unplugged DVD.  It had a limited release in movie theaters last summer.  We were blessed to be visiting my husband’s parents when it was released in their city.  If we had been in Ohio, we wouldn’t have been able to see it as the nearest place the movie was showing around us was about two hours away.  J. fell in love with the movie, read the book, and downloaded the album which she has on auto-repeat with the Frozen soundtrack.

I’m an avid gardener.  Wouldn’t this be fun to have?  It’s an underground greenhouse called a walipini.

What we are eating next week:

Baking this weekend: Cranberry Bliss-fully Happy Bars (recipe coming Tuesday.)

Don't kiss a frog! Someday your real Prince will come.
