“How fun!” I find myself exclaiming this many times throughout the week. Here are just a few things that touched me or made me smile:
What I’m reading:
Our small group has begun reading Taste, My New Life Without Food by Gordon Meier. Pastor Meier was our pastor when we attended his church in Ohio. He is an amazing man of God that is bearing up under an unusual condition. You may request a free copy of that book by clicking the link.
A blog post that touched me:
Edie at Life in Grace wrote a post titled On Giftedness and Calling (Five Clues to Your Calling). Even if you are already secure in your calling, you may appreciate this extra bit of encouragement. I certainly did!
What we are eating next week:
- Saturday Crockpot 15-bean soup, corn bread
- Sunday Cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes (I’ve never made cabbage rolls before. Wish me luck!)
- Monday Whole roast chicken, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots (from raw)
- Tuesday Homemade chicken noodle soup
- Wednesday Pizza
- Thursday Spaghetti, broccoli (frozen)
- Friday Paleo crockpot chili
Baking this weekend: Oatmeal cake with coconut icing.
